The Polaris 4WD Park at Woodhill forest near Auckland reopens May 30. It has been closed since December. However, it is reopening on a drastically reduced basis, every second weekend. The park was previously open every weekend. These dates have been posted on the park's website: May 30/31; June 13/14, 27/28; July 11/12, 25/26; August 8/9, 22/23; September 5/6, 19/20; October 3/4, 17/18, 31; November 14/15, 28/29; December 12/13. A special night run is scheduled for May 23, the first public access to the park for the year.
