The guys at Motortech 4x4 had a surprise when I collected the Rubicon after its full service (carried out once a year, whether it needs it or not!), in the form of a large stick wedged against the exhaust pipe and nicely charred where it had been smouldering away. It probably got stuck there in the South Island, five months ago, but went unnoticed during the two or three under-chassis hose-downs it's had since then. So that was a worthwhile find, otherwise it might have been Jeep Flambe. It pays to check under the chassis, but do a better job of it than 4wdNewz.
Had much the same thing happen on my Disco. I knew it was there when I smelt smoke!
