What's that, an earth temor? Nope, it's Crumpy turning in his grave

Toyota has announced an FJ40 "off-road package" option for "hard core Kiwi adventurers" to be available later in the year. Hey, great: super low gearing, maybe; a front diff lock; detachable swaybars; a snorkel; 35-inch mud tyres? Sorry, none of those. The package comprises Crawl Control, an 87-litre auxilliary fuel tank, and some more underbody protection. Oh well. But wait, there's more barely interesting news: the rear view mirror-mounted reversing camera display has been enlarged from 2.4 inches to 3.3 inches.Additional 3.5mm AUX and USB input jacks have been added to the dash and there are new colours, orange Super Nova (above) and silver Cement.
