Snaps from a Hilux launch

So here we all are at Queestown Hill Station with the facelifted Hilux that's going to have to go up against the new Ranger, BT-50, Colorado, et al. The engines and drivetrains are mostly as before, although the diesel has been tweaked to do away with the intermediate 7500km filter and oil change.
Double Cab kitted out with some Toyota accessories takes a breather at the Shotover River. Vehicle Stability Control, which includes electronic traction control, extends further into the range and, eventually, all models will have it.
Trekking over trails on old gold mining tailings. The traction control handled this well.
The bonnet scoop is wider and now centered, rather than off-set.
Extended Cab decked out with Toyota accessories, more than 200 of which are now available. Don't think ARB has much to fear from the bulbar, though.
New tail-light treatment. All double cabs now ride on 17-inch rims; this size is needed to accommodate the VSC modules.
