Here's an interesting "think piece" on the future of 4WDs. The editor-in-chief of America's Fourwheeler magazine, noting the decline of vehicles with low-range gearing, wonders in the article whether after 41 years its vehicle of-the-year contest will have to include what we now know as "soft" off-roaders. Here at 4wdNewz, the debate goes on about whether to include coverage of some of the more capable vehicles without a low range. The supply of used-import two-door Safaris and Land Cruisers isn't going to last forever. Thanks to a regular reader for bringing this item to our attention.
