New Land Rover Defenders may be missing from New Zealand showrooms for up to a year, 4wdNewz has learned. Land Rover is ending production of the "old" Defender at the end of 2015, although the final vehicles won't arrive in New Zealand until early 2016, according to an official source. But don't expect the all-new vehicle soon after. There may then be a gap of up to a year before the new Defender does into production. The Land Rover source didn't know the reason for the gap and suggested that the situation might change.
why such a gap? what are they thinking?
ReplyDeleteIn a word, "runout" - remember when marmite was unavailable? And the queues to buy when it came back in stock?
