Grand Cherokee diesel arrives, but they're all sold

Jeep got its first shipment of 16 Grand Cherokee diesels last Friday, all pre-sold; another 10, also sold, arrive in a week or so followed by 33 mid July, again all sold to actual customers. The first shipment not sold arrives early August. A Jeep spokesman told 4wdNewz, "we are really surprised by the demand for the diesel  Overland spec, it seems to have really hit the spot." And the 3.0 V6 engine has ended up with 177kW rather than the 166kW the company thought it was getting. A snip at $96,990.
